Carriage Hill Community in Liberty Township

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -The Carriage Hill community is still in its beginning stages, but plans are moving quickly to build a long-standing community in Liberty Township.

“Dog park, biker trails, a small camping area for when dad wants to take the little guy out and pitch a tent,” said Todd Terry of Liberty Land Company.

Set on 400 acres of farm land the Carriage Hill project is a community being built for families by a family that’s had the land for more than 20 years. “So it offers the demographics of Liberty Township a real nice range of housing products, along with the beauty of the land,” said Randy Terry of Liberty Land Company.

The Terry brothers grew up on the property, now they’re sharing it with their neighbors, modeled after a 18th century carriage house, the community will preserve it’s rich nature,  while also offering a town center with shops, as well as pool and walking trails.

“After dinner you can just walk up and get and ice cream cone, for the kids to be able to walk, and have access to that, just creating more of the small town feel, and a sense of community,” Terry said.

When it’s all said and done the plan features 450 single family homes and 250 villas in four neighborhoods built over a span of a decade. The first phase is off Milikin road with 17 lots starting at $425,000. Township officials say the plan fits the needs of a growing community.

“The medical profession the young professionals that are moving into the area, I think they will find this a very lovely place to live, work and play,” Terry said.
